These chairs relate directly to original inspiration combined with a traditional craft foundation.
Design, family and travel all meet in these chairs, which use iconic reclaimed chair frames and now newly designed frames with woven seats and backs. A twist on usual materials and weaves, Rachael believes these pieces will assure the craft of chair caning and seat weaving a place on the contemporary furniture scene.
Rachael is a specialist in close woven seats made from Willow Skeins, which is on the Heritage Crafts Endangered Craft List.
